I absolutely love being a stay-at-home-mom now, but when it was new to me, I struggled. I felt like I wasn’t contributing like I should have been by bringing in income as my whole life I had imagined working full time for well – forever. I have come to find a lot of fulfilment in my homemaking role and have done my fair share of learning with much much more to do. I am learning/know how to bake/cook, sew, crochet, and so much more! I love plants, animals, and being artsy when I get the opportunity.
It wasn’t until I had my first baby that I really wanted to be able to rely on myself more than someone else. I dreamed of a humongous farm where we would raise livestock and have the most beautiful garden and green house. That dream is quite a ways away, but that doesn’t mean we can’t find self-reliance in the mean time!
Here is a collection of recipes, homemaking/homesteading skills, and a journey to self-sufficiency. Come join along!
